Forklift University and other forklift training dealers came together to develop the only forklift simulator designed by trainers. This simulator allows us and our customers to provide real-life virtual training.
We developed a forklift simulator to comply with OSHA and ANSI guidelines. It provides training modules that teach real-life industry skills and address training needs in a danger-free virtual workplace.

OSHA forklift violations are still in the top 10 of citations every year. Operators are still being hurt and killed every day. Despite the new and better training that most companies have adopted over the last 10 years, the lack of skill and training is still a major contributor to these statistics.
Forklift Simulators have been around for over five (5) years, but they have been more of a novelty than a fundamental training tool. Built by gamers who treated forklift training like a game without any genuine concept of how to teach new operators, they lacked the accurate simulations and skill-building needed for better driver outcomes.
Forklift University sold one of these systems for many years; however, the company's programmers failed to adjust to the needs of our industry. Forklift University had partnered with a new company to build a Virtual Forklift Simulator designed by experienced forklift trainers. This collaboration is not a one-sided venture. One of the largest forklift dealers in the USA, Wolter Inc., who had a similar experience with the same VR developers, is included in the design partnership.
For over two (2) years, this development team built a brand-new Virtual Forklift Simulator. Based on the training experience of forklift trainers with over 20 years of training experience each, NEXUS is a modular, drill-based, realistic training system. Over 30 modules are available, including but not limited to drills, attachments training, flatbed trailer and standard truck loading, speed doors, cantilever racking, and many different load types.
The new hand tracking built into the Focus headsets provides a next-generation experience. Menus are touch-and-scroll. The forklift steering and controls are synced between the realistic virtual reality environment and the real-life operator in training.

Training Modules
Because the system is modular, customers may purchase training in bundles or individually. Additional modules can be added at any time, and every customer has access to ALL modules for the first 30 days to evaluate and select the modules best suited for their training program.
