General Forklift Online Certification Training
OSHA guidelines require that ALL operators of Powered Industrial Trucks, also known as forklifts, be trained, evaluated, and authorized by their employer. This training should be on the type of truck they will be operating at the facility. Training should consist of a formal training class, either with an in-person instructor or a computer-based training system (online).
Upon completion of classroom training, a hands-on site skills assessment is required, during which the employer confirms that the operator can safely operate the lift they will use.
