Flagger Advanced Certification Training
A flagger is the person who directs drivers through a work zone when signs and barricades alone can't do the job. OSHA 29 CFR 1926.201 (Signs, Signals, and Barricades) requires flagging signals and flagger clothing to follow Part 6 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
This online course teaches you to stop, slow and release traffic safely, set up and read a temporary traffic control zone, and protect yourself, your crew and the public while you work.
Why "Advanced"? Beyond the basics, the course covers single- and two-flagger operations, pilot car operations, nighttime flagging and emergency situations.
